Game Rules
Be Respectful
Treat your fellow players like humans. This means respecting other players and their characters. If issues come up, ic or ooc, attempt to work through these issues by talking to one another before bringing it to a mod. If you do have to bring something to a mod, be sure to give the mod all the details necessary and show that you made an attempt at resolving conflicts before coming to them.

Bullying or harrassment will not be tolerated in this game. If evidence and concerns regarding such are brought to the mods, the player responsible could be removed from the game.
Keep to the IC:OOC Divide
The actions and words of a character are not representative of the player. Do not assume an IC fight between your characters means the player hates you.

Do not use your character to voice your personal frustrations/concerns. Players and Characters are two separate entities and should remain as such.
Characters Allowed/Power Nerfing
Canon Characters and Original Characters of all ages can be brought to this game. If a mod doesn't think a character is a good fit for the game, you may be contacted, but generally we are a 'Characters Welcome' game. That being said, Canon OCs and AU or CRAU characters can not be apped into the game. Non-human characters (Robots, talking animals, non talking animals, aliens, AIs and more) are all appable characters, but some may need to undergo minor changes for the setting. Giant or Miniscule sized characters (not easily visible to the human eye/larger than a house) will be scaled down or up in size to fit the town.

When a new character is apped in, certain game breaking powers may be nerfed or removed. For example, if your character controls zombies, they may suddenly find their ability difficult to control or that it now lasts for a very short duration. If your character could fly, they still can, but now the activity is exhausting, and the distance they can travel greatly diminished.
Character Limit
The character limit for this game is two characters per player. However, players are also able to request to play roles as an OC/NPC in events such as arrivals, exploration or survivor clashes.
God-Modding and Power/Ability Abuse
Character powers are nerfed to prevent breaking the game. God-Modding or Power and Ability Abuse take the fun out of playing the game. You control your character, not someone else's, and making assumptions or actions on their behalf is foolish and irritating to other players.

If your character has powers that could potentially control or affect another player's character, or you are in an action scene with another character, communication is key. Discuss things with your fellow players. That is what the player contact page is there for.
The Fourth Wall
Fourth Walling is not an aspect of this game. Characters who may have canon knowledge of other canons will not recognize other characters as those canons they know. In their minds, all those canons have been altered just enough that while similarities may exist, they no longer recognize the specific characters.

If you app a character from the same canon as someone else, but at a later canon point, be respectful and check with the player before discussing those events beyond that characters canon point with the character in game.
Activity
Currently, the AC style of the game has not yet been mapped out. This is something we plan to allow players to work out with us after the first month of the game. Until AC is mapped out, players will be required to check in and prove that they are in game and participated in at least one thread for the month.

The idea will be for AC to not be a difficult goal, but rather a simple goal with a potential reward system. Currently we are leaving AC off for the first round and letting players offer suggestions once they get a feel for the game.
