This page is where you go to find weapons, food, clothing, supplies for rebuilding, and more. It's also where characters will post when they go on expeditions. In addition to picking up items characters are searching for, replying to the resources page can result in your character receiving unique items, special 'gifts' from home, plot pieces, and mini events.
Clothing:Assurance was a small town before the viral outbreak, and the supplies within it reflect the 80s North American Small Town. Plaid, wool, jean and cotton are available in abundance. Shirts tend to lack designs beyond basic fabric patterns of plain, striped, argyle, plaid, flower, and checker prints. Colors are dull and washed out. Shirts generally have short or long sleeves, with button up plain linen shirts and black and blue blue jeans the trend of things. Nightgowns resemble oversized shirts that drop to below the knees and sleep wear ranges from wool, cotton and linen.
Undergarments are available, as are overalls, suspenders, boots, tennis shoes, sandals, snow shoes, plush winter coats and windbreakers, and slacks. Ladies wear is largely the same, with long skirts, blouses, and summer dresses in the mix. Hats of the cowboy, baseball and sun variety can also be found.
Food:Food rations in the town are thin but manageable. As time passes, characters will need to rely more heavily on scavenging other locations or growing and hunting their own food. Rations that can be found in houses and stores of town include:
Canned Soups, Vegetables, Fruit & Meat
Dried Nuts, Fruits, Meat, Eggs & Milk
Boxed Pasta, Cereal, Baking Mixes
Bagged Rice, Beans, Flour & Sugar
In foraging, the following are available in very scarce supply, mostly beyond the fog that surrounds the town:
Wild Raspberries, Strawberries, Black Currants, Blackberries, Green Onion, Pears, Peaches, Apples, Buckeyes, Walnuts, Porcini, Chanterelle, Mint, Sage, Yarrow, Dandelions, Thistle, & Garlic
Local Wildlife has scattered, but when the fog lifts, these can rarely be found in nearby woods:
Dove, Turkey, Pheasant, Duck, Geese, Bighorn Sheep, Deer, Mule Deer, Elk, Rabbit, Pronghorn, Moose, Cow, Black Bear, Mice, Squirrel, Opossum, Raccoon, Skunk, Wolves, Horses, Coyotes, Wild Dogs, Stray Cats, Rats, Snakes, Owls, and Birds of Prey.
Liquids:There is no running water in Assurance, which leaves three wells and the lake for water supply. It might be wisest to boil the water if you're planning on drinking it, cooking with it or using it at all. Old off brand soda bottles can be looted from very old, broken vending machines or found in diners. Alcohol can be found in the bar, though supplies may dwindle quickly for both.
Tools:It may be a good idea to root around the houses for matches, lighters, tool boxes, pots, pans, can openers, radios, binoculars and other items of use. People used to live in town, so a wide variety of tools are available. It would be wise to try to find the manual versions of whatever you need, though. No telling how often you will be able to find batteries.
Weapons:Weapons are perhaps the second most precious commodity after water in this world. The town isn't heavily armed, but the kinds of available weapons you could find include:
Blunt force weapons (Crowbar, baseball bat, stop sign, lead pipe, wrench, etc)
Guns (Handgun, Shotgun, AK, Sniper Rifle
Blades (Machete, katana, axe, sword, rapier, dagger, etc)
Projectile weapons (Slingshot, crossbow, bow, javelin etc)
Defense Items: (Swat shield, shield, trash can lid, pepper spray, stun gun)
Communications:Old TVs, Dead flip phones, walkie talkies, hand held radios, stereos, and landline phones can be found in town. Currently the only workable ones are the walkies and handhelds, but that may change someday. Who knows?
Materials:Lumber, Nails, Screws, Fabric, Canvas, Tarp, Metal scraps and more can be found in town and outside of town at various locations when the fog lifts. If there's a material needed for a project, the material or a close substitute should be able to be scavenged from somewhere or something.
Transport:Several old cars, a few motorcycles, bikes, skateboards and wagons can be found around town, but all of the fuel-based transport have been siphoned off for gas. Hopefully a gas station can be found soon.
Medical:First aid kits, bandages, insulin, enhalers, painkillers, wraps, salves, shots and pills can be found in the pharmacy, in medicine cabinets, and someday beyond the outskirts of town. All are pretty heavily in demand, though, so if you find them, announcing it may not be the best idea.
Living:Cows, Ducks, Stray Animals and other beasts might be able to be found when the fog lifts. If a character or characters finds a way to tame or restrain a few animals, they might be able to start adding some extra life to the town. Additionally, several stores and houses have bags of unused plant seeds that would be well worth the effort of saving. Canned food doesn't stay good indefinitely, no matter what anyone tells you.
Other:There are a lot of uncategorized or unessentials that can be found around the world of the game as well. Anything that might not fit another category falls here. For example, Comforts like Books, Paint, Furniture, Board Games and Rugs.

There is a smell of mildew, rot and mold that permeates the store, and near the aisle of cleaning supplies, a mix of bleach and ammonia fumes in the air will make any who linger nearby too long sick to their stomaches and light-headed.
It's clear the store has been looted several times over, and in addition to the many various molds, rotting packages of food and rust stains, there are several patches and splatters of dried, old blood in different areas of the store.
Food:
Canned:
The expedition can find an assortment of cans (both dented and undamaged) on the floors and shelves of the store. There are only a handful of each, but among them is a decent variety. These include:
Packaged, Dry:Spam, Corned Beef, Cream of Fish Soup, Cream of Celery Soup, Green Beans, Peaches, Cherry Pie Filling, Water Chestnuts, Sardines, Black Beans, Tuna & Mixed Vegetables
These are scarce as well, and less of a variety are available, but as food goes, the ones the rats and mice have not eaten their way into are in good shape.
Drinks:Instant Noodles, Flour, Rice, a small assortment of Oat cereals, Jell-O and Pudding Dry Mixes, Saltines, Mac & Cheese, Oreo's and assorted chips and candies from the cash registers.
Aside from a few loose bottles of water, this is the hardest hit of the supplies. What is available is largely kool-aid mixes (dry powder), a few loose cans of sodas, a few questionable 4 year old jugs of 'juice' and one large case of beer.
As well as this, there are a large number of high protein Dog and Cat Foods in Can and Dry Kibble variety.
Medical Resources:
The medical aisles are toppled and in utter disarray, as is the small pharmacy counter within the store. Supplies have been raked through. A few bottles of medication for cold & flu or various specific unusual ailments can be dug out of the mess. Bandages and band-aids are long gone, but wrist, leg and neck braces are available, as are diabetic socks which can be used in a pinch. While the salves and alcohol have been taken, there are some 'all natural' alternative homeopathic medicines against the wall and two hefty bottles of protein powder
Other:A bloody piece of graph paper can be found taped to the entrance of the store. On it is scrawled a message.
Hazards:"Suffer humans. Spare beasts. Slay birds"
A second torn piece of graph on one of the cash registers appears to be part of a map (The red A is not on the map).
If anyone ventures into the backroom, a fearsome growl will start up. Characters can choose to investigate or attack the source of the growling, but any attempt at entering the backroom sends the offending noise running off to the clack of nails on tile floor and the crashing of boxes. The source will attempt to elude the expedition party.
The floor is weakest near the back room. Venturing inward will cause a collapse of a large section of the floor. Within the rubble lies a starved Reacher that will try to grab anything that moves near it. Aside from this there are no other hazards.
A few large black feathers are sticking in some of the blood stains.

Food
The police station has never been well stocked in this regard. Clove can find a few loose bags of chips and cans of soda in the busted open vending machines stored in the contraband room, as well as a multitude of Mars Bars, Boxes of Skittles and several boxes of twinkies.
WeaponsAn old box of stale and moldy doughnuts is still sitting on one of the desks but it isn't recommended Clove attempts to eat them, and it looks as though any frosting was eaten away by some form of insects.
There is no better location for Clove to have searched than this. Despite having been raided in the past, the armory contains four standard issue pistols, ten law enforcement batons, four tasers with re-loadable packs, four full clips for the pistols (1 each), eight flash lights, various sizes of swat uniforms, in both men's and women's sizes, combat boots, gun holsters, a 12 pack of smoke grenades and a 12 pack of mustard gas grenades, Five bullet proof vests and 6 swat helmets.
As security goes, there are only two doors to the station, a front and a back. Both are reinforced steel doors with multiple locks. There are no windows whatsoever in the building aside from a narrow skylight in the cell hallway, only about a foot tall and three feet long.

The cars within the graveyard are rusted and in disrepair. If they bother to clear the zombies and spikes from any of the cars, they can search the abandoned vehicles. Beyond documents and trash, the main information that is to be gained are the Colorado license plates present on most of the vehicles present. It's possible to scavenge a few tires from here if they decide to, but anything of use in the cars has already been looted.
The Church at the back of the graveyard is full of fairly fresh walkers. These particular walkers are largely undamaged. They lack even the bite marks of other walkers in the area.
If Jessica and Finnick empty the church of zombies, they will find the place had previously been used as a safe haven. There are rolls of blankets, around 15 or so, stacked in one of the side rooms, along with a simple double bucket filtration system of sand and rocks set up with water bottles around it. A few first aid kits and an old broken CB radio.
In the way of food and weapons, weaponry is missing from the church but a storeroom in the church's basement contains twenty large boxes of uncooked pasta, several pounds worth of sealed bags labelled venison jerky, a few jars of expired tomato sauce, and a box with the US Army seal on it, filled with three weeks worth of untouched MREs if split wisely between half a dozen people. A few regulation US army uniforms (Universal Camouflage) and several pairs of heavy duty boots can also be found in the box, with three loose grenades at the bottom of the box.
A letter can be found on the pastor's desk, however the contents contain sensitive subject matters regarding the deaths of the people within the church, so let me know if you wish to look at it and I'll give the appropriate warnings.
