A Player's Guide to ReMainStreet
Remainstreet is a world-building survival/horror game. A lot of our pages are in a constant state of change and update, and can be influenced and changed by the players. This guide is designed to help lay out what the pages available on the Navigation are, and how you can use them.

The Premise, Rules & FAQ are quick glance areas for players to get a feel for the game both IC and OOC. Any questions not answered by these pages can be addressed in the screened comment section of either the FAQ or the Mod Contact pages.

The Taken and Player Contact pages can be used to find out who your fellow players are and the best ways to get in touch with them for plotting or other purposes. Please be sure to update your information if anything changes while you're playing here.

New buildings can be posted to the Town for character use. Shops, housing, structures and other buildings can be added as they are needed or wanted. Once your building or structure is approved by the mods it will be unscreened and visible to all. Additionally, if your character is making use of a building, destroys part of a building, makes modifications or just wants to look around this is the best place to mention what has been done to a building or to find out if someone else has done something with it!

As expeditions out of town occur, the Discovered Areas will be expanded to include new locations. These locations can be accessed any time the fog lifts once they have been added to discovered areas, and characters are welcome to go to those areas at their own risk.

Utilities are updated as things in town are created or replaced which can be used by all town residents. This will also include information like the type of fuel or resources required, and the status of that resource or fuel in game.

Resources will soon be your character's best friend. This page is where you go to find weapons, food, clothing, supplies for rebuilding, and more. It's also where characters will post when they go on expeditions. In addition to picking up items characters are searching for, replying to the resources page can result in your character receiving unique items, special 'gifts' from home, plot pieces, and mini events.

The Bloody Book of Zombies & Nightmares includes information on all forms of zombies and monsters currently within the game. As more characters enter the game, more creatures and zombie varieties will be added. If you'd like to suggest any horrors from your character's canon, you can do that here as well.

One of the other aspects of Remainstreet is the ability for players to play NPCs in events and intro logs. These are temporary characters that come in and out of the game and may be killed, infected or reused throughout a player's time in game. The NPC Guidelines & Register explains and keeps track of NPCs in the game, their status and their last known position in regards to the town residents (Ally, Enemy, Neutral, Etc).

Character Death & Infections are explained in depth over on this page, and any character deaths should be reported there for mod record.

Hiatus & Drop is a tool for notifying the mods and your fellow players if you need to leave the game for any period of time.
